The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef Manager will work collaboratively with the dietary department and cater to various events while maintaining exceptional service standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation. Develop and plan menus that cater to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring variety and nutritional balance. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff in food handling techniques, preparation methods, and safety protocols. Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of meals. Implement shift management practices to optimize staff performance during peak hours. Collaborate with other departments to meet the culinary needs of the organization. Requirements Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Experience in menu planning and food preparation techniques. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective team management and collaboration. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
