Position Summary The Motel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of motel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, optimizing financial performance, and maintaining a productive and positive work environment. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning across financial management, staff supervision, marketing, and facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Recruit, lead, and manage motel staff, fostering a strong team culture
• Prepare budgets, track expenses, and monitor financial performance
• Implement marketing and occupancy strategies to drive revenue
• Address guest feedback promptly to maintain high satisfaction ratings
• Coordinate routine maintenance and improvements to property standards
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality or motel/hotel management required
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Financial and operational acumen, including budgeting and reporting
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality
• Proficient in using web-based reservation systems (e.g., Expedia, Bookking.com, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and manage peak-season demands
• Familiarity with property management systems is a plus
