The Harbor Front Inn in Greenport, NY is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Front Office Supervisor to lead our front desk team and help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. This role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional with a strong sense of organization, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the front desk team , fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Ensure efficient and smooth check-in and check-out experiences for all guests. Welcome guests warmly and provide a high level of personalized service. Resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Build and train a high-performing front desk team, providing regular coaching and support. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment. Utilize hotel systems and software effectively for reservations, billing, and guest communications. Stay knowledgeable about local happenings in Greenport and the North Fork to provide recommendations and enhance the guest experience. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. Maintain shift logs, reports, and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a hotel front desk or in a guest service role. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Computer savvy with experience in hotel property management systems (PMS). Deep knowledge of Greenport, local attractions, restaurants, and seasonal events. Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
