Hotel Front Office Manager Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel 700 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton, PA 18503 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in shaping their stay and enhancing their overall satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage front office operations, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest inquiries. Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalism. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure timely room availability and upkeep. Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies. Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments to enhance guest services. Monitor phone systems and ensure efficient handling of incoming calls. Develop and implement strategies for improving guest relations and overall hotel performance. Skills Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest experiences. Familiarity with night audit processes and procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing front office operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience in resort settings is an advantage.
