Front Desk Supervisor Residence Inn Downtown Charleston 90 Ripley Pointe Dr, Charleston, SC 29407 The Residence Inn & Suites Charleston Riverview is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team and lead the way in welcoming guests to the charm of Charleston! As Front Desk Supervisor, you will support the Front Office Manager by leading front desk operations and ensuring a smooth, friendly, and efficient check-in/check-out experience. You’ll serve as a role model for the front desk team and help resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner. Lead all front desk operations and ensure daily coverage of shifts Train, schedule, and support front desk associates Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, billing, and special requests Respond promptly to guest feedback and service recovery situations Ensure compliance with brand standards and hotel procedures Communicate effectively with housekeeping, engineering, and management teams Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Answer and direct phone calls with a courteous and helpful attitude. Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns. Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area. Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus. Basic computer skills. 2+ years of front desk or customer service experience (hotel experience preferred) Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Familiarity with Marriott systems (FOSSE/MARSHA) is a plus
