Hampton Inn & Suites- Front Desk Supervisor (part of Hilton) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 860 Conference Drive, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville/Goodlettsville is seeking a Front Office Manager for its 92 room hotel in Goodlettsville that opened in August 2018. Looking for someone who is ready to take the next step from that Hotel Front Desk Supervisor position you have been in for two years or more. Must be very customer service/sales savvy. Taking care of our guests is our number one priority.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the Front Desk along with total operation of the hotel during General Manger’s absence. Helps monitor all labor costs within each department. Helps in the hotel sales efforts along with overall hotel operation. Maintains high standards at the hotel along with all guest scores. Previous hotel Front Office Manager experience and light sales is preferred. Hampton experience a plus too!
Essential Functions:
In coordination with the General Manager hires and trains a quality staff to help achieve great scores and overall budget. Manages hotel staff along with creating work schedules for Front Desk. Supports all departments inclusive of Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Breakfast. Helps in the empowerment along with Sales Efforts at the hotel. In coordination with the General Manager maintains Accounts Receivables, City Ledger and Guest Ledger accounts. Helps in Labor control and cost control for overall property. Helps in the performance reviews along with disciplinary review of employees. Believes in the TEAM concept along with leading by example. Reviews all sales and occupancy reports and SALT guest satisfaction scores to maintain our highest standard for our guests. Follows up on any potential lead in coordination with the General Manager. Implements all Hampton Brand Standards. . Helps maintain inventory and security of the property. Empowers a well trained TEAM. Fills in where needed at the Front Desk.
Skills/Qualifications:
Hotel Front Office Manager experience preferred or 3 years Hotel Front Desk experience. Hampton or Hilton Flag experience preferred. Good managerial, administrative and organizational abilities. Great people skills in dealing with both staff and guests. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Must maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
