The Night Audit Supervisor serves a critical role by providing direct guest support throughout the hospitality experience. The Night Audit Supervisor accurately processes and tracks transactions and other reportable items. The Night Audit Supervisor must be adept and creative problem solvers, delivering above-average resolutions to guests’ challenges. The primary responsibilities of this critical role include delivering and exceeding guest expectations, executing luxury service standards, resolving challenges, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting, maintaining excellentmunication with guests, leading, training and coaching Night Auditors, while supporting Front Office Managers with operations.
What you’ll be doing…
Wee arriving guests andplete the hotel’s arrival/check-in experience, ensuring special requests are fulfilled and accurate information is received.
Lead by example and coach and train Night Auditors as needed.
Effectively engage with guests through phone or electronicmunication consistent with hotel brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling guest records, cash reports, audit reports, and other guest or hotel information.
Balancing all revenue and settlement accounts nightly.
Verify and reconcile daily financial transactions.
Prepare and distribute end-of-day financial reports.
Promote hotel brand loyalty programs, encourage guest participation, and offer special rate packages and upgrades when appropriate.
Effectivelymunicate with hotel departments verbally or through hotelmunication log to ensure timely and accurate delivery of guest expectations, fulfillment of needs, and challenge resolution.
Listen to guests and empathize with their challenges. When necessary, solicit guest feedback and act on guest’s concerns.
Always maintain professionalism consistent with hotel andpany expectations.
Exude positivity, a service aptitude, and can-do mindset guided by First Hospitality values and leadership behaviors. Know andmunicate hotel emergency procedures; inform and assist guests in emergencies.
