Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Front Office Supervisor supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role involves supervising front desk staff, addressing guest issues, and ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-focused attitude, and experience in front office operations within the hotel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service at all times
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as necessary
- Assist in training new staff and coaching of existing staff
- Scheduling for front desk staff
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards
- Post Advance Purchase payments once a week
- Supply ordering
- Monthly inventory
- Shift coverage for call outs/days off
- Answer phone calls for front desk staff when help is needed
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend, holidays, evenings, and overnights
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a hotel front office or guest services role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations
