Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Front Office Supervisor supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role involves supervising front desk staff, addressing guest issues, and ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-focused attitude, and experience in front office operations within the hotel industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service at all times
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as necessary
  • Assist in training new staff and coaching of existing staff
  • Scheduling for front desk staff
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards
  • Post Advance Purchase payments once a week
  • Supply ordering
  • Monthly inventory
  • Shift coverage for call outs/days off
  • Answer phone calls for front desk staff when help is needed
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend, holidays, evenings, and overnights
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a hotel front office or guest services role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations
