As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting both our front and back of house team members on a rotating basis.   • What will you do?
  • + Coordinate daily activities with housekeeping and staffing to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned, and perform cleaning duties when necessary.

+ Inspect guest rooms and public outlets daily to ensure adherence to the quality assurance program and follow up on maintenance requests. + Prepare weekly inventory, check in supplies, and report discrepancies, while completing the daily housekeeping report. + Train and Supervise Front Desk Team members and/or housekeeping team members, depending on the day, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; evaluate team member job performance and recommend appropriate rewards or corrective actions. + Provide guidance to team members on handling difficult problems and resolving escalated guest complaints, and implement policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management. + Perform cleaning duties on slower day or when staff shortages occur. + Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative team members.

  • + Must be at least 21 years old to apply.

+ Housekeeping experience required with supervisory experience preferred. + Front desk experience preferred. + Experience with a multitude of computer programs includingHotSOS and property management systems. + Previous commercial cleaning and guest service experience preferred. + Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures. + Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure.

  • Physical requirements
  • + Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, standing, walking and carrying.

+ Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties. + Ability to push carts weighting up to 200 lbs and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces. + Regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals and occasionally exposed to wet, outside weather and/or humid conditions.
