Job Description

Part-Time Evening Housekeeping Supervisor 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 100 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Position Summary:

Supervise the performance of room, turndown, public area attendants and housemen to ensure the highest level of quality and service. Monitor and address any deviations to quality, company, safety and brand standards. Is committed to providing a consistent and exceptional guest experience by ensuring all guest expectations of public area cleanliness and service standards are met and or exceeded.

Inspect to ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, guests and heart of house elevator landings, stairwells, ice machines, vents, light fixtures and areas including employee entrances to guarantee they are clean and clear of trash, debris, spills and residue. Generate weekly schedule based on staffing and productivity guidelines. Review daily MACG(Make a Green Choice) and occupancy levels to ensure staffing levels are met. Generate daily assignments for housekeeping team. Communicate regularly throughout the day with front office and other departments to ensure optimal guest satisfaction. Assist with inspection, attendance and preventative maintenance tracking. Monitor inventory levels in storage and closet areas. Exercise safe work practices within job function based on company guidelines at all times Slips and falls Proper Lifting Chemicals PPE – Personal Protective Equipment Blood Borne Pathogens Sharps/broken glass Adhere to all guidelines pertaining to lost and found and suspicious activity.

Qualifications:
Education:

High School or GED is preferred

Language:

Bilingual (English and Spanish), Preferred but not required

Experience:

Prior housekeeping experience is required. Prior supervisory experience preferred

Hours Required:

Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Hours may vary based on occupancy levels and hotel needs.

Must possess basic computer skills Requires good communication skills both verbal and written Ability to push, pull, lift minimum of 50 lbs.
