Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor assists the Club Manager to deliver clean and functioning facilities while providing excellent customer service. This may include maintaining club space, training fellow team members, and being the source of supervisory support for the housekeeping team. Job Duties and Responsibilities Assists staff in maintaining cleanliness/organization of locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas, and amenities by performing assigned tasks Assists the Club Manager with monthly Housekeeping Dept. expense management. Assists in training team members through providing ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and continuous feedback. Assists with the recruiting and interviewing for the Housekeeping department. Attends weekly Club Leadership meetings Builds positive relationship with members and team members while gathering feedback. Coordinates and creates Housekeeping staff schedules. Washes, folds, and stocks member towels and ensures the locker rooms are clean, neat, and orderly. Ensures the usage of locker room/club paper goods, cleaning products, soap and chemicals follow the amount prearranged by the department budget. Responds to member inquiries regarding WellWay at Norterre products, services, policies and procedures as it relates to Housekeeping dept. Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED 1 year of customer service experience, housekeeping, cleaning or operations experience. Ability to bend routinely and repetitively lift more than 40 lbs. Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
