The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards. They will be expected to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor will report to the General Manager and work closely with other departments to ensure that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay. Qualifications At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred. Supervisory experience required. Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Must have the ability to assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need. Must maintain composure and objectivity in stressful, high pressure situations. Must have effective organizational skills and be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must be capable of self-supervision and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and personnel. Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions. Maintain and convey a positive and respectful demeanor to employees and guests.
