Job Description
We are seeking a detailed-oriented, motivated Housekeeping Manager to join our housekeeping team. The goal is to create a clean, safe and orderly environment for our residents and staff.
Summary:
Housekeeping Manager manages the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner. Inspects facility, recommends upgrades when needed. Housekeeping Manager establishes workflows, standard procedures and quality control plans and are responsible for the maintenance of vendor/supplier relationship.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of residents/guest rooms and public areas to ensure HLC standards are being met
- Perform staff reviews, evaluation (90 days and annual), and encourage teamwork among staff
- Resolve all residents’ complaints within a timely manner
- Reply to all housekeeping email in a timely and professional manner
- Generate monthly housekeeping schedule
- Produce Inventory checks and supply list monthly
- Facilitate quarterly deep cleaning
- Stocking all housekeeping closets weekly
- Cover weekend shifts when needed
- Making sure all housekeepers are present for their shift
- Making appropriate changes to the cleaning schedule when needed
- Producing effective ideas for meeting and exceeding production.
