Role:

The Executive Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring that cleanliness and sanitation standards are met consistently across the facility. This role involves strategic planning and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Executive Director will lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a positive experience for all guests. Ultimately, the Executive Director of Housekeeping plays a crucial role in upholding the reputation of the establishment through exceptional cleanliness and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in hospitality management or a related field. Experience in budget management and cost control within a housekeeping department.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping needs and address any issues promptly. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and cost-effective purchasing.
