In this role, you will ensure that our guest rooms and hallways meet brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established protocols. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Implement effective floor care procedures, including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and other specialized cleaning tasks. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around guest needs and special events. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Maintain records of staff performance, incidents, and any necessary follow-up actions. Requirements Ability to speak and understand English is required to communicate with guests and team members, and to follow safety and cleanliness standards. Proven experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry or similar environment. Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests alike. Ability to lead by example while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
