Full Job Description Summary:
The Housekeeping Team Manager is responsible for helping to plan, organize, and develop the overall operations of the Housekeeping Department following RH&R standards and guidelines, along with assuring the highest degree of quality.
Responsibilities:
Responds to all guest requests, problems, and complaints in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline all Housekeeping personnel according to RH&R policies. Ensure consistency with departmental opening and closing procedures. Develop employee morale and ensure training of Housekeeping personnel. Inspect rooms daily and ensure that all rooms are inspected daily. Ensure implementation of all RH&R rules, policies, and regulations. Manage and organize large turnaround days (including group check-ins or check-outs). Must check guest rooms for repairs and ensure that proper maintenance is completed. Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with hotel staff. Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with Managers, employees, and other departments. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the public area. Completes performance review. Assist the department in inspecting all VIP rooms prior to arrival. Report lost and found to the security office as soon as possible. Comply with the company’s drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy. All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
1+ years of supervisory or management experience required. 2+ years of housekeeping experience preferred. Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently. Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s): High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Discover Life at
