Assistant Executive Housekeeper Vunique Vacations Sarasota, FL 34242 Vunique Vacations is seeking a detail-driven and proactive Assistant Executive Housekeeper to assist in housekeeping operations across our luxury vacation rental portfolio.

BASIC FUNCTION

This role is heavily focused on ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness across properties. You will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to manage vendor performance, complete inspections, support deep cleans and directly execute or assist with cleaning special projects.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Special Cleaning Projects o Complete detailed cleaning tasks (e.g., baseboards, light fixtures, floors) across properties, reducing reliance on third-party vendors. o Conduct on-site spot cleaning (rugs, upholstery, curtains) when off-site cleaning is not feasible. Vendor Oversight & Training o Conduct weekly property inspections and walkthroughs with cleaning vendors to assess quality. o Deliver feedback and training to vendors to uphold Vunique’s cleanliness standards. o Assist in updating training checklists, materials, and visual guides for cleaning vendors (e.g., Breezeway photos). Inspections & Quality Assurance o Assist Property Managers with quality checks on days with multiple turnovers. o Perform final inspections prior to VIP guest arrivals and photoshoots. Emergency & Backup Cleaning o Provide hands-on cleaning support during last-minute callouts, vendor shortages, or emergency events (e.g., hurricane prep, high season turnover spikes). Linen & Supply Organization o Maintain and restock linen bins, housekeeping closets, and cleaning caddies on a monthly basis. o Sort, label, and store owner linens separately from general stock. o Monitor weekly linen grab bin replacements Deep Clean & Seasonal Support o Assist with deep clean inspections and peak season heavy turnover days o Help onboard new properties by setting up linen systems, organizing supplies, and assisting with initial housekeeping staging. Laundry & Linen Management (Supporting Role) o Deliver and retrieve linens from laundry facilities. o Organize and inspect “3rd fold” linens weekly; ensure quality and proper folding for guest readiness. o Maintain linen inventory and PAR levels at all storage locations. o Spot treat and clean protectors and duvets in-house during high turnover periods.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

2+ years of housekeeping or hospitality cleaning experience required Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to give constructive feedback to vendors and teammates Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and travel between properties Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and reliable transportation
