Housekeeping Supervisor 81 Oaks Senior Living Sarasota, FL 34241 Housekeeping Supervisor Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at 81 Oaks Senior Living. This role is essential in ensuring our community maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have a strong background in housekeeping management.

Key Responsibilities Supervision and Leadership :

Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Provide training, guidance, and support to the housekeeping team to maintain a motivated and productive workforce. Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, address concerns, and encourage feedback.

Cleaning and Maintenance :

Ensure all areas within the senior living community, including residents’ rooms, common areas, and offices, are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Implement and monitor cleaning schedules to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed on time. Inspect completed work to guarantee it meets the community’s quality standards.

Bilingual Communication :

Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management in both English and Spanish to facilitate smooth operations and enhance resident satisfaction. Translate documents and communications as needed to ensure accessibility for all residents and staff.

Inventory and Supplies Management :

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure resources are always available. Maintain records of supply usage and expenses to aid in budget management.

Health and Safety Compliance :

Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations and community policies. Conduct regular safety training sessions for staff to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or a similar field. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills. Bilingual proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and another language, preferably Spanish. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
