This position is ideal for a dependable leader who thrives under pressure and knows how to deliver consistent results—even when working with a facilities manager who closely monitors performance. Schedule Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM Key Responsibilities Supervise, clean, support, and motivate a team of 3 cleaners. Ensure all floors and common areas meet the clients quality standards. Communicate effectively with the on-site facilities manager and respond professionally to feedback and direction. Perform hands-on cleaning duties as needed to maintain workflow and quality. Conduct daily walkthroughs and inspections to verify tasks are completed correctly and on time. Train new team members and ensure ongoing compliance with safety and cleaning protocols. Troubleshoot minor issues quickly and escalate larger concerns to senior management. Requirements 2+ years of janitorial or cleaning supervision experience (commercial high-rise experience preferred). Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team under pressure. Dependable and self-motivated with a “get it done” attitude. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently. Supervise cleaning staff as needed to ensure adherence to company standards and protocols. Manage custodial tasks in commercial cleaning environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Launder linens and towels as required in hospitality settings. Assist in housekeeping management by maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages. Provide leadership by training new staff on cleaning procedures and best practices. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from guests or management to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently while maintaining high standards. Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
