Job Description

Housekeeping Manager Courtyard by Marroitt Windy Hill / Ballpark 2045 South Park Place SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 The Marriott Courtyard Windy Hill / Ballpark is currently closed as we wrap up an extensive total renovation of this 128 room Gen 1 property. Currently we are scheduled to reopen June 1, 2025. The property will have new owners and we have been asked to hire the staff.

Requirements:

1. You will have a background managing a hotel housekeeping department 2. You will hire and manage a staff of housekeepers, laundry workers and houseman 4. You need to be flexible on your hours. The hotel business is 24/7 5. You will be a self-starter who can operate with construction and logistical staff all over the property. 6. You will be a well-organized person who can develop daily check lists as well as monthly and annual While the renovations are continuing, there is extensive work to be done preopening. This position is available immediately. Starting pay range is $50,000 per year. Summary As a Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the cleanliness and guest satisfaction of the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Reporting to the General Manager, your core skills in cleaning, floor care, and hospitality will be essential in managing housekeeping staff and operations. Your experience in hotel settings and relevant skills in janitorial and custodial practices will enhance the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas. Train and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to hotel standards and procedures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and facilities to maintain high cleanliness standards. Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
