Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards. Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels. Implement floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and other specialized cleaning tasks. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inspections, and supply usage. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery within the hotel or facility. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and custodial procedures. Familiarity with hotel operations and an understanding of guest service expectations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and guests alike. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks as needed throughout the day.
