The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in hospitality environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead a team of housekeeping staff, oversee daily operations, and implement best practices for cleaning and maintenance. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping personnel on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; ensure proper usage and storage. Develop cleaning schedules that optimize staff productivity while ensuring thorough coverage of all areas. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility. Implement floor care procedures to maintain various types of flooring in optimal condition. Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff performance and inventory levels. Experience Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or similar hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial practices is advantageous. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and polishing. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
