Central Regional Hospital
We are currently recruiting for Housekeeping Supervisor I positions at Central Regional Hospital (CRH). The Housekeeping Supervisor I is responsible for supervising and leading a team of 7-12 employees in the daily, routine cleaning of patient and staff areas of Central Regional Hospital. These are the housekeeping employees who meet the cleaning needs of the hospital staff and patients on a daily, 7 days per week basis. These positions are also responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment and for maintaining supply inventories at prescribed levels. Work is performed under the supervision of a Housekeeping Supervisor II. These are first shift positions. Normal working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled. Flexibility in work schedule is required to meet hospital needs. These positions are considered essential to hospital operations during inclement weather, which will be described in detail during the interview process. These are full-time positions and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.

Demonstrated experience in Housekeeping.
Ability to set priorities and deadlines and establishing goals for the area and making sure they are followed through
Ability to conduct training on new products and cleaning procedures, research testing new products in areas, including data sheets and labels
Ability to evaluate the work performance of employees
Good communications skills – verbal and written
ADA physical requirements will be discussed in detail during the interview process. However, the employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Management preferences:
Previous experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role.
Previous experience in a hospital environment. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
