Full Job Description Position Overview :

The focus of this position is providing oversite and management of the Housekeeping Department. This is to be done through professional and efficient operational management, while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping services, including cleaning and linen processes and all performed with an exceptional level of customer service. The following Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations are the minimum requirements of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day to day operation of the Housekeeping Department including management of staff, ensuring compliance of NCREC guidelines, company policy, procedures and standards. 2. Responsible for the hiring, training, evaluation and day to day management of all departmental staff; providing first line approval for all employee expenses; Payroll (PTO and timesheet approval), mileage reimbursement and employee purchases due for reimbursement. 3. Responsible for the hiring, training, evaluation and day to day management of all departmental contracted vendors and cleaners. Providing verification of required insurance, certification and licensures. 4. Responsible for the department’s procedural manual, implementation and quality control of housekeeping standards and processes. Ensure all staff and vendors have access to departmental procedures and perform to the standards set forth within. 5. Oversee the purchasing, inventory and distribution of the supplies and stock inventory. Quote products and suppliers annually ensuring the best quality and price is secured. 6. Participate in the afterhours On-Call rotation.

Additional Responsibilities:

7. Assist the Managing Director in establishing division production goals and annual budget; communicate goals to department staff, assist them in implementing plans to obtain goals, provide accountability and direction as needed. Attend weekly Manager Meetings and prepare departmental updates to other Managers. Qualifications /

Experience:

High School Diploma Property Management experience with a focus in housekeeping as well as management of staff and vendors preferred.
