Full time We are seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Superviso r who will manage our team of housekeepers. Duties specific to
Housekeeping Supervisor:
Determine staffing required and schedule part-time and full-time housekeeping person and arrange for additional staffing as needed. Supervise the housekeeping staff. Maintain all housekeeping supplies to ensure that par levels are maintained to prevent shortages while operating within budget. Seek opportunities to reduce expenses and increase efficiency. Order equipment, linens, and supplies when needed or directed. Manage the laundry process, which includes all bed linens and towels. Perform other tasks as assigned or needed.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience. Willingness to perform a variety of simple repetitive tasks, many of which will involve unpleasant conditions. Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility. Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions. Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and vendors.
