As Director of Housekeeping, you will lead and manage our housekeeping department to ensure our facility is maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness, infection control, and resident satisfaction. You will supervise and train housekeeping staff, maintain inventory, develop cleaning schedules, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and infection control regulations

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the faciltiy, ensuring cleanliness and standards are met Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety standards Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest requests and special cleaning projects Handle resident complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner Monitor budgetary expenses and control costs within the housekeeping department

Qualifications:

Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping management, preferably in a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and proper use of cleaning equipment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required #IND123
