Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team in a dual-capacity role. This position is primarily responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. In addition to housekeeping responsibilities, this team member will support the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor by conducting room inspections and assisting in training and quality assurance duties as needed—typically once a week or more frequently based on operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Housekeeping Duties:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to Avion Hospitality standards. Restock supplies, replace linens, and replenish amenities. Perform deep cleaning tasks including AC vent maintenance, mold/mildew touch-ups, and light furniture reassembly as needed. Remove trash, report maintenance issues, and ensure guest rooms meet company presentation standards. Maintain a positive and service-oriented demeanor when interacting with guests and staff. Supplemental Inspection Duties (As Assigned): Conduct quality control inspections of guest rooms and public areas. Document findings and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate with management on cleaning protocols, scheduling, and service quality improvements. Report supply shortages and maintenance concerns to appropriate leadership. Assist in onboarding or training new housekeeping staff as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or related environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communicator—able to give and receive clear instructions. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety standards. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Willingness to step into a quality assurance role when required.
