Director of Environmental Services RAM Recruiting Edison, NJ A respected skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Environmental Services to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations. This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily housekeeping and laundry operations throughout the facility Ensure compliance with DOH, infection control, and sanitation regulations Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff Monitor linen usage and ensure timely laundering of resident clothing and facility linens Conduct regular cleanliness inspections and respond to service requests promptly

Qualifications:

Previous experience leading housekeeping or laundry operations in a long-term care or healthcare setting Strong understanding of sanitation protocols and infection control standards Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills Ability to manage schedules, delegate tasks, and maintain high-quality service standards Knowledge of regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing environment
