Housekeeping inspector La Quinta Inns & Suites 200 West 3rd Street, Jamestown, NY 14701 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitize bathrooms. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff. Skills Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of custodial practices, including industrial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with housekeeping management principles is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Proficient in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
