Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The Housekeeping Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our guest rooms and public areas. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for upholding Marriott’s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards. Report and follow up on any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to cleaning protocols. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary. Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures. Provide feedback to management on staff performance and suggest areas for improvement. Ensure that all guest requests and complaints are addressed promptly and courteously. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a hotel setting. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
