Job Description
Edgefield Post Acute is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping ???? and Laundry ???? Departments. This key role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and guests. We are seeking someone who takes pride in high standards, strong leadership, and supporting a team in a healthcare setting. ????️
Key Responsibilities:
???? Oversee daily cleaning and laundry operations in resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces ???? Create and manage staff schedules, assignments, and time-off requests ???? Conduct regular inspections to ensure sanitation and infection control standards ???? Manage supply inventory and coordinate orders for cleaning and laundry products ???? Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, and internal policies on infection control and safety ???? Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and dietary teams to ensure smooth operations ???? Train, supervise, and coach staff to maintain high performance and morale ✅
Qualifications:
???? High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus) ???? 2+ years of experience in housekeeping/laundry services, 1+ year in a supervisory role (preferably in healthcare or long-term care) ???? Knowledge of cleaning agents, laundry procedures, and infection control ???? Strong communication and leadership skills ⏱️ Ability to manage time effectively and work flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays) ????
