Our Housekeeping Inspectors are our 1st level of management, and oversee the housekeepers. The Inspector’s role is to lead the team of Housekeepers through Positive motivation, Leading by example, training, Knowing where your housekeepers stand for the day/what their needs are, and helping the housekeepers as needed. It’s the inspectors job to assure that ALL assigned rooms are cleaned (up to the Island Vista Standard) by a given time. Inspectors are occasionally required to clean rooms , and they report to the Assistant Directors of Housekeeping. The Inspector is the FINAL set of eyes that approves a room prior to a guest being checked in. This is a KEY role at the resort. Traits of a good Inspector are as follows….
