Executive Housekeeper La Quinta Inns & Suites 7051 Mccutcheon Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 Overview The Executive Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of the establishment. This position requires strong leadership and management skills to oversee housekeeping staff and ensure that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or industrial cleaning, with a focus on custodial management and floor care. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient workflow. Develop and implement cleaning schedules for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Address guest complaints and concerns promptly to enhance their experience. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management. Skills Proven experience in custodial services or housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management. Proficient in using cleaning equipment and understanding safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals. Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
