JOB DESCRIPTION

The Margaritaville Island Hotel, in Pigeon Forge, TN is looking for an Executive Housekeeper Manager for our 134-room hotel located at the Island. The Executive HK Manager provides a strong presence for the team they oversee. They will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for our guests. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and managerial skills. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment needed for housekeeping operations. Oversee the inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and effectively. Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housekeeping activities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management. Qualifications & Requirements Must have strong attention to detail. Leadership skills. Computer skills to input information. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or related field is required. Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role is preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including floor care and custodial practices. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels within the organization. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations.
