is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector to join our Great Smoky Mountains, TN team! The Housekeeping Inspector is essential to delivering an exceptional first impression to our guests as they ensure that residences are in pristine condition and meet brand standards. The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for both housekeeping and inspector tasks.

COMPENSATION

$16.00 – $16.50 per hr. •dependent upon experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for inspecting homes between housekeeper cleans and guest arrivals. Ensure homes are properly staged in preparation for guest arrival. Ensure all areas have been cleaned and prepared properly using an internal inspection checklist. Ensure toiletries and amenities are replenished. Ensure bathrooms are cleaned to company standards and stocked with toiletries and amenities. Ensure all flooring is vacuumed, swept, and washed to company standards. Ensure refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, and stoves are clean inside and out. Ensure porches/decks are swept and free of debris prior to guest arrival. For residences that have open fires, ensure the fireplace is cleaned, prepared for use, and stocked with wood and kindling. Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming, and consistent manner. If a guest makes a direct request to Housekeeping, ensure that you promptly fulfill the request and if unable to fulfill the request, raise with the relevant manager. Ensure that you keep the guest aware of the progress and always communicate in a friendly, positive manner. Deliver items during cleans and act as the ‘runner’ as needed. Approach all tasks and requests with a ‘can do’ attitude. Escalate any general issues with the residences to the relevant manager promptly. HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Weekends and holidays will generally be busy with guest arrivals and departures and are considered working days. Exact daily schedules may vary from season to season and differ from in-season to off-season.
