Candidates must be self-starters with the motivation and dedication to succeed. Must be dedicated to providing a consistent, quality service within budget objectives.
Responsibilities:
Maintains standards of cleanliness and a consistent, positive guest experience. To ensure a smooth, efficient, and economic operation in the Housekeeping department. To specify and purchase supplies, and record all data pertaining to the Housekeeping department. To effectively monitor the preventative maintenance program of all janitorial equipment. To maintain a motivated staff that continually strives for excellence in service and cleanliness within budget parameters. Constantly monitor and control all labor costs for the Housekeeping department, achieving targeted payroll. Monitoring of hiring, disciplining, development, promotions, and terminations to insure positive associate relations. To maintain close coordination, communication, and interaction with client management and other outside service contractors. Monitor all client requests to ensure they are met within prescribed time limits. Inspect and tour all common areas daily.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of Housekeeping management experience. Experience in scheduling, daily reviews and analysis of operating results preferred. Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Able to set priorities for the Housekeeping department and provide feedback to others that enhances performance. Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and provide follow up in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly service-oriented and a team player. Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment. Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
