Head Housekeeper/Supervisor StaffRite USA Memphis, TN 38103 Job Summary The Head Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role involves managing a team of housekeepers, coordinating cleaning schedules, and implementing effective housekeeping procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the reputation of our establishment. Duties Supervise and train housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Address guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Implement best practices for industrial cleaning and floor care to maintain high hygiene standards. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department. Skills Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or hotel environment. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and other departments. Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
