Custodian – Days 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 3398 Winn Ave NE, Fort Payne, AL 35967 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SUMMARY:

Main job function of the finishing custodian is to maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the plant and to manage inventories associated with this function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep a weekly inventory of all Janitorial supplies. Clean and mop all bathrooms and breakrooms on the finishing side at least twice daily. Clean front office lobby and halls daily along with kitchen area. Collect all trash throughout the finishing department and place in appropriate dumpster. Collect and weigh all plastic bottles for recycling daily. Document and place in appropriate area. Responsible for collecting all trash in parking lot on finishing side from middle dock to plant entrance

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Must have basic reading and writing skills Ability to multi task regularly throughout the day. Requires good communication and organizational skills. Must be a self- motivator and willing to take on responsibilities with little supervision

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to move between departments to interact with others. Consistent daily attendance required; occasional off-shift support and limited travel required.
