Overview Performs simple repetitive tasks in maintaining assigned area ofhospital or professional office building in an orderly and sanitarycondition under general supervision and according to establishedprocedures. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and aroundhospital departments and performs a variety of housekeepingduties. Responsibilities Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential informationacquired regarding person, financial, medical or employment ofpatients, families, and employees of DRMC. Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients andDRMC. Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action. Must participate in safety instructional programs. Qualifications Education:
High school or equivalent preferred. Ability tounderstand and follow verbal instructions and read in order toprepare cleaning solutions according to established formulas at alevel normally acquired through completions of elementaryschool.
Experience:
Approximately one to two weeks on-the-job experiencenecessary in order to learn sanitation principles and techniques,hospital layout and department policies and procedures.
