Summary We are seeking an Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Russellville Hospital. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facilities, directly contributing to the quality of care provided to our patients. The position is based in a hospital setting, where your efforts will support both staff and patient well-being. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure all floors are maintained through proper floor care techniques including mopping, buffing, and waxing. Follow established safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with hospital policies and environmental regulations. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Requirements Previous experience in environmental services or custodial work preferred. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage techniques. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
