JANITORDefinition:
Performs a variety of janitorial tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Supervision:
Receives general supervision from higher level supervisory staff.
Duties – may include, but are not limited to, the following:1.Sweeping of floors, walls (interior and exterior) of project facilities.2.Mopping of floors.3.Picking up litter from grounds and shorelines.4.Pulling trash from receptacles and replacing the liners.5.Cleaning out pedestal grills and fire rings.6.Cleaning of bathroom fixtures (commodes, lavatories, mirrors, etc.) in project facilities.7.Blowing off sidewalks, campsites with a backpack blower for extended periods of time.8.Vacuuming of carpet floors.9.Cleaning windows.10.Dusting.11.Delivering supplies, driving to parks and opening gates.12.Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of:
Sanitation staff skills, tools, and equipment.
Ability to:
Operate a broom, mop and backpack blower.
