The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks effectively. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through regular care. Conduct custodial duties in both industrial and commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required to support overall cleanliness and functionality of the environment. Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established guidelines. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly. Experience Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces. Experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is a plus. Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance practices is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and addressing issues as they arise. Requirements •Must be able to pass background check. •Must be able to pass drug test.
