• Industrial Organizer-Cleaner We are seeking a reliable and dependable person to help maintain an organized, clean and safe enviroment in our shops, office and restrooms.

You will be expected to help with both the organization and appearance of our facility.

Duties:

• Sweep and Shovel metal turnings and transport to dumpster using Forklift
• Operate forklift to move materials within the shop and to the dumpster
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
• Organize Tooling and Inventory
• Perform Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Inspections
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
• Maintain inventory of plant supplies , safety supplies and tooling
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Perform general maintenance tasks as needed
• Shipping and Receiving
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the facility by addressing any maintenance issues or reporting them to the appropriate personne This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work with hand and power tools, as well as operate a forklift.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar labor-intensive role is preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus

Skills:

• Proficient in operating a forklift safely and efficiently helpful
• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning helpful
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills _
