JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary Details:

An Event Lead Custodian will oversee and assists other custodians in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of a building or facility. They will be performing a variety of duties, including but not limited to cleaning, training, and managing staff. The lead will also ensure the safe and efficient operation of cleaning equipment and supplies. Responding to emergency cleaning needs and ensuring timely resolution. Must have 2yrs lead and or shift management experience of 15 to 20ppl. 2yrs. cleaning, custodial or janitorial experience. On- call availability required and must have reliable transportation

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience
• One (2) year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to team members
• Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management
• Report performance issues to the Supervisor
• Assist with the training of cleaning team
• Coordinate work assignments
• Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
• Report work orders for maintenance
• Makes sure premises are secured at all times
• Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work.
• Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager.
• Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Complete order forms completely and accurately.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
