• -Job Summary
• -As a SanitationWorker
• you will be trained on the proper techniques of cleaningproduction equipment, machines and work areas of our foodmanufacturing facility
• -You will be responsible for handlingand preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, chemicalconcentrations, and handling and storing the chemicals. Thesanitation team is expected to report any potential contaminationissues and any safety concerns that may arise as part of thesanitation process.
• -Essential Functions, Duties ℜsponsibilities
• -Perform daily sanitation of all processinglines.
• Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of thesanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Maintainand clean water lines.
• Coordinates all daily sanitation activitieswithin
• -the plant.
• Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures thatrelate to cleanliness and product safety with the facility
• Responsible for managing and reporting need for supply of cleaningchemicals necessary for the operation of the cleaning program andin compliance with OSHA and all plant regulations.
• Assistsoperations to maintain the highest rating possible on all auditsand inspections.
• Supports all Food Safety initiatives.
• Knowledge,Skills & Abilities
• -Self-directed with the ability to workindependently as well as with groups.
• Ability to effectively plan,organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to train, maintain andpromote a safe work environment.
• Read and understand HACCP alongwith FDA and OSHA requirements as needed.
• Education &Experience
• -High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Entry level does not require previous experience in a Sanitationrole.
• Working Conditions
• -Work is performed in a foodprocessing plant with a high noise level, storagecoolers/facilities.
• Position requires working around processingplant equipment.
• Must be physically capable of working extendedhours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periodsof time, and operating processing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to80lbs.
