Full Job Description In General:
The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of the buildings, as well as basic maintenance tasks.
Essential Duties:
The Custodian is responsible for ensuring the common areas are kept in good condition.
Daily cleaning of the following:
o Offices Locker Rooms oCanteens Toilets oEntryways/stairwells. Maintaining inventory of consumables and parts needed for duties. Supervising onsite maintenance workers. Performing weekly/monthly checklists of waste and building condition. Collecting supplies from various vendors in the area as needed. Performing maintenance/repairs on general building fixtures as needed. Performing maintenance on company tooling and equipment.
Secondary Duties:
The custodian may be assigned various secondary duties, including but not limited to the following: Assisting with materials controller and their daily duties as required.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to move around the office, plant throughout the day, and reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists to grab and hold heavy equipment. Must have the ability to climb in a safe manner (climbing as a minimum includes stairs, scaffolding, ladders & ramps).
