Montgomery, AL 36106 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings, adapting techniques as necessary. Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, and window cleaning. Support industrial cleaning efforts by utilizing appropriate equipment and safety measures. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Skills Proficient in various cleaning techniques including buffing and floor care. Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Knowledge of residential painting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the day.
