The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning aircraft parts using a parts cleaning sink, steam cleaning equipment, and other non-destructive methods Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties in coordination with shop mechanics. Install, caps, plugs, or sealant tape to part openings to prevent foreign objects or debris from entering the part. Clean parts using approved methods as instructed by the supervisor. Dispose of debris and clean the shop at the end of each workday. Restock cleaning materials and shop supplies as necessary. Report any visible damage or issues with parts to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. Qualifications Previous experience around a mechanic shop in some way is desirable. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
