The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining various areas, including commercial spaces, restrooms, and common areas. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct floor care activities including buffing and stripping floors as needed. Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality of equipment and fixtures. Handle custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings as required. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and are kept clean at all times. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to maintain a clean environment. Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
