The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility, particularly in hospital environments. This position requires a strong commitment to environmental services, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of hospital areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and materials to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed. Follow established protocols for infection control and safety measures in compliance with OSHA regulations. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of environmental services practices and procedures. Ability to effectively clean and sanitize various surfaces and materials. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment. Understanding of OSHA standards related to workplace safety and sanitation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
